The Finalists are Published
We would like to thank all the judges who judged the shortlist round – with thirty categories, we needed a lot of judges. The finalists in each category have been published and many congratulations to each and every one of you who made it. To those of you who didn’t, our commiserations and there is always next year.
If you are a finalist, do go and get your finalist badge and wear it on your blog with pride.
Best Blog Post
You can keep voting in the Best blog post category until Friday. On Friday, the top ten blog posts will be selected and they will be judged by independent judges. The winner will be announced at the event on 12th October.
We haven’t forgotten about the Glenisk competition! We’ll announce the ten finalists in a day or so. Each finalist gets a free ticket to the awards and a prize at the event. The winner wins a night at Cloughjordon House!

The Blog Awards event is happening on 12th October at the fabulous Osprey Hotel in Naas and it is shaping up to be a great night. A sit down meal, entertainment, music and lots of surprises. The theme is cabaret and there will be a special prize for the ‘Best Theme Dressed’ attendee. So look out for those feather boas and come dressed to impress.
We have lots of spot prizes and are currently planning games and tasks so come prepared ready to play as the prizes are great. Just as last year, there will be goodie bags too. I’m not going to say any more for now, we’re planning some good surprises so stay tuned!
You can buy your tickets here. If you wish to stay at the Osprey, do mention the blog awards for a special discount on your room. There is a night bus from Naas to Dublin if you wish to travel to Dublin after the event.
Looking forward to seeing lots of you on the 12th,
Lorna, Beatrice and Amanda
